Tiwi College Visit to Melbourne – May 2025

Our Young Men's class recently travelled to Melbourne for an exciting week of learning, connection, and fun alongside students from Scotch College.

Highlights included visiting the MCG, exploring the Melbourne Aquarium, and spending a full day at Werribee Open Range Zoo. The boys also visited MITS (Melbourne Indigenous Transition School) and Richmond Football Club, where they had a chance to learn more about future opportunities.

Each morning, they participated in literacy and numeracy workshops, and enjoyed art, science, and hands-on activities like dissecting a cow's eye, silk screen printing work, and of course lots of footy!

We are proud of how respectfully and confidently our students represented Tiwi College and thank the host families and staff who made this trip possible.
