This term, the JYW class is designing, planning, and creating tungas as part of the Tiwi College Curriculum integrated projects.

After such a challenging and heartbreaking end to the year, Tiwi College has been truly overwhelmed by the incredible support shown through the Cyclone Appeal organised by Scotch College Melbourne. We extend our deepest thanks to Scotch College—a long-time and treasured friend—and to all the generous donors who went above and beyond.

Cyclone Fina left a big mark on Tiwi College, with $550,000–$700,000 in damage across our learning spaces, homes and campus facilities.

Senior Young Women spent time with one of our Tiwi Elders (Freddina and Tianna’s grandmother) at GPT refining Tiwi words, spelling, and cultural context for the book they’ve written.

Such an awesome way to learn and inspire future scientists.

Congratulations to Latisha Lorenzo for her remarkable resilience and dedication in completing Year 12 with NTSDE, and for an incredible six-year journey with Tiwi College. We are so proud of you!

Seeing them hold their finished book and share a reading that filled the room with pride and joy - was truly unforgettable.

It was great to have the Essendon Football Club visit.

Plenty of learning, laughter, and teamwork out on Country.
