Welcome Susie, Primary Teacher

We are thrilled to introduce our new Primary teacher Susie Long!

Susie and her partner, Shane Ponter, have five beautiful daughters: Jade, Shannon, Rachel, Danielle, and Brooke. They are also blessed with seven wonderful grandchildren.

Susie was born in Darwin, and her lovely parents are Jack and Agnes Long. She has seven brothers and one sister. Susie's parents grew up in Garden Point, a place that holds many memories for her.

After completing a teaching degree, she decided to return home to Garden Point to spend time with her father and start her teaching career. Susie was fortunate to be offered a teaching position and spent seven years at Pularumpi School.

Last term, an opportunity arose for Susie to work as the Primary School Teacher at Tiwi College in 2025. She decided to accept the challenge, and Shane and her are now looking forward to their new journey at Tiwi College.
