Congratulations to Matthew Nudjulu who, having completed year 12 studies just last year has been employed by Tiwi College as an apprentice mechanic.
Happy Boxes Project
Tiwi College has been registered with Happy Boxes Project whose aim is to empower women in Australia’s most remote communities, promote self-care and support women in community by providing hygiene and health products.
Strong Women’s Program
We would like to thank Sharon from Red Dust for visiting to run the ‘Strong Women’s Program’.
The young women enjoyed each session of life skills pamper, self-care and cyber safety.

The JYW attended The Future Nextgen event with Inspired NT & Engineers Australia at the Darwin Solar Car Workshop at Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex.
NT Health - Outreach Team Visit
The Outreach Team stayed for an overnight visit and was lucky to join our life skills/academy afterschool programs and community dinner!

In term 4, a group of Senior Young Women travelled to Sydney as part of the Create Initiative funded by the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

FGH Initiative Fete Day
On Thursday the 17th of August, the Tiwi College community and friends enjoyed the 2023 Family Group Homes initiative Fete Day.
FGH1 Fete Stall
The FGH1 boys decided to donate to Purple House as some of their families have been on Dialysis and this organisation means a lot to them.
FGH8 Fete Stall
FGH8 had a delicious yinkiti (food) stall selling beef curry and chicken vermicelli.
FGH2 Fete Stall
The FGH2 boys chose to donate a portion of their proceeds to the Aged Care Facility in Wurrumiyanga.
FGH7 Fete Stall
FGH7 Sweet & Sour Stall sold Lolly Strap Sticks, Lolly Bags and Dessert boxes which included an assortment of brownies, cookies and cupcakes.
SYM Sport & Rec Community Service
The SYM have been working towards their Sport & Rec Community Services.
