A big shout out of gratitude to Marbine of the Tiwi Rangers who stopped to ‘rescue’ us last week from a looong walk into Mili after our vehicle had died!

In order to keep access open for students our college staff spent the day repairing roads and washouts.

Junior Young Men enjoyed learning about Landforms and went walking to the creek to look at erosion and how landforms start being formed.

It was very special to have previous students Maurice and Daniel Rioli here. The students absolutely loved spending time with the players and staff.

Congratulations to Matthew Nudjulu who, having completed year 12 studies just last year has been employed by Tiwi College as an apprentice mechanic.

Tiwi College has been registered with Happy Boxes Project whose aim is to empower women in Australia’s most remote communities, promote self-care and support women in community by providing hygiene and health products.

The JYW attended The Future Nextgen event with Inspired NT & Engineers Australia at the Darwin Solar Car Workshop at Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex.

The Outreach Team stayed for an overnight visit and was lucky to join our life skills/academy afterschool programs and community dinner!

In term 4, a group of Senior Young Women travelled to Sydney as part of the Create Initiative funded by the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
