Welcome Neil & Tarshi
We’re excited to welcome Neil and Tarshi to Tiwi College as our new Family Group Home Parents.
Tarshi grew up in Port Lincoln, SA, and had an adventurous childhood travelling with her family while her dad worked as a tuna fisherman. She has worked in aged care and disability for over 20 years. She loves the ocean, camping, gardening, cooking, and staying active. Tarshi is mum to two adult sons and has lived and worked across SA, NSW, and Kangaroo Island.
Neil is originally from Wollongong, NSW, and has had a diverse working life - from being a fisherman and beekeeper to a ranger coordinator and nursery manager. He enjoys fishing, sailing, gardening, and music. He has four adult children, two granddaughters, and another grandchild on the way.
After living on Kangaroo Island, Neil and Tarshi have now made the move to Tiwi College. They’re both excited to be part of the Picka community and are looking forward to getting to know the students and learning more about Tiwi Culture.
